How fresh is the fish? How does it arrive so fresh to London?
Our fish are caught in the Mediterranean and Black Sea and immediately placed into a strict cold-chain network. By bypassing slow market chains, we deliver directly to your doorstep in the shortest time possible to guarantee peak freshness.
Do you clean the fish before delivery?
Yes! All our fish are professionally gutted, scaled, and cleaned in our hygienic facilities, arriving at your kitchen ready to cook. Please note that Anchovies (Hamsi) are delivered whole and are excluded from the cleaning service.
What exactly defines an "Exotic Catch" on your website?
Our Exotic Catches selection includes premium, rare, and highly sought-after seafood species that are not commonly found in standard supermarkets. This ranges from vibrant tropical fish like Parrotfish and Mahi-Mahi to deep-sea delicacies like King Crab and specialized reef catches.
Are the weights listed for whole fish or cleaned fish?
The weights displayed refer to the whole fish before cleaning. Please note that scaling and gutting will result in a weight loss, meaning the final net weight delivered will be less than the initial weight ordered.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD), or can I pay only online?
We accept all major credit and debit cards securely via our encrypted 3D Secure checkout screen, offering seamless payment and flexible installment options. To ensure our cold-chain couriers operate at maximum speed and to keep transit times for fresh seafood to an absolute minimum, we do not offer Cash on Delivery.
Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?
Due to the perishable nature of fresh seafood, processed orders cannot be cancelled. However, we assume full responsibility until it hits your doorstep; if anything is wrong upon arrival, we’ll send a replacement or issue a refund.
Do you sell frozen seafood, or is everything fresh?
Our focus is strictly on 100% premium fresh seafood. We never sell frozen fish; everything we source is fresh from the catch and delivered directly to you to guarantee peak quality and taste.
